It's con season! And no I am not talking about the SHRM Conference, though I will be attending one day of that next month. This past weekend, I took a break from work and went to Anime Central, also known as ACen. It's the largest Japanese anime and manga convention in the Midwest.

I always spend more than I budget on anime and manga merchandise at ACen, but this year, I wanted one more piece of swag to add to my future office desk. I found a cute motivational poster by Lemon Penguin:

The akibento mystery box I bought, appropriately enough, included a mouse pad. This is a character from some computer game I never played. But it's going on my desk anyway because it looks cool:

This ACen desk swag is in addition to my Shuri pixel art, by Popcyled Baubles, which I bought at C2E2. She's my favorite character from "Black Panther":
